Off-line for 30 years......

Roslyn's Angus Aran Knitwear, on-line from September 2004.

Roslyn has been knitting traditional and modern Aran knitwear from a young age retaining the skills passed down through the generations to produce authentic Scottish Aran sweaters, cardigans and children's Aran knitwear. Roslyn's Aran's' are in demand all around the world with customers coming from as far a field as South Africa to the USA and Canada and all points in between.

Roslyn , official trading name 'Angus Aran Knitwear', lives and works from her remote cottage in Angus overlooking the famous Angus Glens. What was once a hobby, and family necessity, has been turned into a full time occupation. Knitting exclusively for family and friends led to clients from all over the world requesting a hand knitted Aran from Roslyn.

All of Roslyn's creations are made to your specific measurements ensuring a perfect fit every time, rather than mass producing Aran sweaters. The extra time and care taken is clear to see in each garment which is why an Aran knitted by Roslyn is not the cheapest you will be able to buy. Machine knitted garments can never compare to a hand knitted garment and with the proper care a hand knitted Aran will far outlast a cheaper mass produced garment. Roslyn knits with only 100% pure new wool wherever possible.
To ensure you are aware of the best way to look after your Aran each item comes complete with guidelines on how to care for your precious Aran clothing.

As Roslyn produces each and every garment personally, order to delivery can take up to 30 days, so it is advisable to order your Aran knitwear well in advance. 

After much persuasion by family, friends and clients Roslyn has finally agreed to use the internet to enable clients to order knitwear on-line. This step into the 21st century now enables new, and old, clients to order garments quickly, securely and easily.

Roslyn has just celebrated her 5th year on-line and would like to thank all of her clients for using the web to place orders and welcomes the many new clients the web has brought.
